Map and Compass Courses

Map and Compass course run by the Silva Navigation School are led by writer and teacher Pete Hawkins. They are run from the Peak District village of Tideswell and use the landscapes of the Peak District National Park to teach courses for beginners through to advanced navigators.

All courses are practical in nature and involve walks up to ten miles. You need to satisfy yourself that you are physically capable to attend the course. More details can be found here. If you have any queries, please contact the Silva Navigation School.
