The price for the Silva Navigation School Courses are as stated elsewhere on this website. Payment of the fee in full confirms your place on a course.
The Silva Navigation School reserves the right to cancel a course should numbers be insufficient to make the course viable. Whilst we will endeavour to give good notice of this, occasionally we may have to make the decision near the start of your course. The Silva Navigation School cannot be held responsible for any additional costs you may occur by the cancellation of a course. You are strongly advise to take out travel insurance. Should the Silva Navigation School cancel a course, any fees can be transferred to another course or refunded should no alternative prove suitable.
If you cancel a booking less than six weeks before the weekend starts and there is no waiting list, you will loose your entire course fee. If there is a waiting list then £30 will be retained for administrative purposes. If you cancel more than six weeks before the start of the weekend, you will lose just £20 of the booking fee for administration.
National Navigation Award Scheme
If you book on a Bronze, Silver or Gold level map and compass course, directly through this website – we open an account for you on the National Navigation Award Scheme database (we may also forward you the details so that you can register yourself). This will enable you to keep a record of your training and also in future book further training with the Silva Navigation School. By booking on a course you agree to us putting your details on the NNAS database. We need name, email, date of birth and a contact number for this. Please contact Frag for more details.
Physical products
Navigation Books are dispatched as far as possible on the same day or next day after you’ve ordered them. We cannot, of course, guarantee that this will possible in every case.
Silva products are dispatched directly from Silva HQ who operate Monday to Friday. We will dispatch goods as soon as we can but cannot guarantee immediate dispatch.
The free downloads are available at the time of purchase – if you have problems downloading them please contact me directly.
